Race to the Heisman

Tennessee's playbook doesn't come with either of those.

I would flip through Tennessee's offensive sets, except my brother is playing at the moment.

Just try and run option from any pro set that might be in there.

are you running the option with Tennessee and Tennessee's playbook?

I run it with Georgia and georgia's playbook.

Shockley can't pass worth a damn, but he can run and with me at RB in the race for Heisman, that's all I really need.

I run my option out of I-form and tight I-form, and mix it up between the triple option, reverse option, and power option.

But, if the defense audibles their line to the side you're running the option to, audible out of that play. The DE on that side will beat your OT everytime and cramp up the QB, giving him the option of either taking the hit for a loss of a couple or pitching it and hanging the RB out to dry with hopes of him breaking a tackle or two to gain some positive yardage.

That's what seems to happen to me every time. I obviously have never gotten the hang of the option I can barely get positive yards in most cases.

I pride myself with being very good at running on that game, so even if the line shifts, I can get positive yardage as long as my QB has a half second to pitch the ball.

Just do a whole bunch of Oklahoma drills on All-American and try to make the touchdown all ten times. It will teach you how to read what a defender is doing and you can time your jukes just right.

I'll try that. Do you use all the moves? Which are most effecive: spins, jukes or stiff arms...or just speed bursts?

Do you mean All-American against Tennessee's Defense? That could be tough.

The SEC gets screwed over yet again!

The Univeristy of Georgia completed a 12-0 undefeated season by defeating the Alabama Crimson Tide 42-0 in the SEC championship game.

So they're Rose Bowl bound right?

Wrong. Iowa and USC also ran the table this year, setting up the historical Big 10 vs. Pac-10 Rose Bowl, meanwhile SEC champs Georgia is left behind as they are Sugar Bowl bound against At Large bid Virginia Tech.

Last year, it was Auburn that got the short end of the stick when 3 teams went undefeated, USC vs. Oklahoma was the deciding national championship game. Now, it's Georgia's turn to bite the bullet, becoming the 2nd straight SEC team to go undefeated without a chance of playing for the national title.

Screw this!

Well I did redo my Race to the Heisman with a scrambling QB Hank Hill. I got offers from Iowa, Okla.,& Ohio State. I couldn't pass up playing with Peterson.

so tell me about doing the heisman race. do you still have full control over your team? is still like regular game play?

Yes, it is like Dynasty mode but no coaching control, like changing the playbook, depth charts (except that your guy will always start) and recruiting. It's like a four-year dynasty where you gotta focus on padding your guy's stats.

Just finished up my regular season undefeated (I played Varsity) and will play LSU in the SEC Championship. Riggs was a beast but my heisman player (QB) did not perform that great. He had some good games and some pretty bad ones and in three games he left with an injury. He is just a freshman though so there is always next year for the Heisman.

It was not any fun at all playing Vandy and Kentucky, I beat them both by 70+. Anyway, I thought it was interesting in the KY game I put the second team defense in and Inky Johnson was returning punts. He returned his first and only punt for a TD.

I will have to decide after the bowl game if I will continue and/or play on All American to make it a little more challenging. I am probably not ready for Heisman yet.
