The red ring of death is an sickness that has swept xboxes around the globe. It is a combo of system overheat and hardware failures. They estimate that 3 of 10 will have this issue. Mine got it and they sent me a new one and they say that the problem has been corrected on all the ones shipped out from the repair center and the new ones on the shelves. BUT I had a friend who had to ship his off 3 times for the RROD. So you may want to pray over it and annoint it with oil.

What really pisses me off is that I don't really play it that much.

I loved my regular xbox........ I had it about 6 years.

to get it fixed call 1-800-4my-xbox they are nice and give you a free month of xbox live, but they will ship you a box, you ship the box with console, they ship back all paid by them and the whole thing only takes 3-4 weeks

My wife got the insurance plan from Wal-mart....
