One of the true enforcers in the history of the league. A man's man. Godspeed, Mo.

I heard about this earlier on the radio. He is easily one of the most beloved with older blazer fans. He made his home here after his playing days.

RIP #20, one of the rip city greats.

Listening to the radio yesterday with Bill Schonley (known around here as the Mayor of Rip City), remembering one of the better moments in Blazer History.

In the 1977 NBA Finals, Mo Lucas gave Darryl Dawkins a shot in the back of the head that nearly sent him to the floor.

YouTube - 1977 NBA Finals Gm 2...an NBA game broke out at the Spectrum.

Bill Schonley, who was then the radio play by play man, immediately skipped past the shock of the moment and started calling it like a boxing match.

Mo was a bad, bad man.

Dawkins was playing the punk cheap shot and run tactic and backed into Mo who let him have it. Beeatch deserved the back of the head shot.
