Loved that show. Never missed it. They just talked football and showed highlights. Nothing else and it was great.

And then they had to go and add that tool Chris Collinsworth to the panel! Ha! I still watched the show and enjoyed it but I NEVER liked him!

I can easily remember watching him against Bart Starr and Packers in the first Super Bowl. Always seemed to be a class act.

He was a little before my time as a player but I thought he was a great host on Inside The NFL.

That was appointment viewing back in the day when highlights were scarce.

Hard to believe the Pittsburgh Steelers kicked both John Unitas, and a few years later Len Dawson, to the curb.

I watched both of his Super Bowls. Still can name most of the starters on that 1969 team. Loved their huddle formation. Chiefs should do that for their first huddle of the regular season to honor him and his team mates of that era.
