I liked some of their stuff in the 80's but not their 90's crap. When bands start getting all political they get on my nerves, see U2 and Green Day.

REM should never be mentioned in the same sentence with U2. Good or bad.

I was too busy break dancing to get REM. Made me in the outside of the loop crowd. That and my British Knights rolling around Briarcrest.

Why were you still breakdancing in 1988? I was a poser with an expensive skateboard. I had the threads to give me some rep. Vision Street Wear, ftw.

It was probably more like '85-'86. Never did the skateboard stuff. Didn't drink or smoke either. My weekends were spent rolling with my friend in his red IROC playing LL cool J and playing basketball at whatever court had lights. That's where I met Ronald Davis when we were jrs. I tried to go over him the first night I met him with about a 4 foot big 2 step start.. We were about the same height. He went straight up ,blocked it with his elbow, and came down with the ball cupped.
