"Damn a bama fan spending money going to a Tennessee spring game.... so why weren't you at the bama one. I know you have had a hard time dealing with Tennessee since Fulmer got you probation for trying to pay players, but he is gone and I think Kiffin is not like that....don't be so sore. Tennessee will be back and watch out because he will bring what Saban has at bama...a top 10 program. I feel some fear in bama fans now that Phil is gone"

Thats pretty funny....especially cause Phil kinda owned Bama curing most of his tenure as HC.

I'll assure you, there is no fear of UT in any Bama fan now or in the near future. Giggles, snickering and some pity is more like it.

Fear in Bama fans? Fear of what? Our team is recruiting very well and we are projected to have a top 10 defense again. The Phil Fulmer thing is over with. Move on, Kiffin is the coach now, not Fulmer. Yes, Alabama screwed up, we know. It's in the past. Alabama and Tennessee are starting fresh.

Just let the men play football.

Bama will never move on past Fulmer.

The Bear has been dead for 30 years and you have yet to move on from him. Much less something that happened 10 years ago.

Amen to that! It's funny being around a bammer who starts talking to me about some obscure player for Alabama that played 30 years ago or some specific game that Alabama played. They just don't seem to let things go. And they have the most selective memories of any college football fan. They forget that they were pretty much owned for the better part of a decade, now they want to come to a UT message board and feign pity because UT has stumbled in recent years. Humorous. Some of the UT fans can't really say anything, though. I still see those '98 National Championship plates on vehicles to this day.

Isn't it interesting that people who always yell that they aren't concerned about a team (see Bama, Fla., Ga., et al)and claim that a school has a doofus for a coach just keep on and on and on. They never close the pie hole. In my many years of living on this planet, I have found that when that pattern exists in anything, especially football, there is real (and I mean REAL) fear or else they would say it once and shut up. The nationally recognized skillful staff that Coach K. has assembled and the potential to bring the best of the best talent to the Hill has them worried, deeply worried as to what might happen....I love every minute of their protestations - I absolutely enjoy each one....As Shakespeare had Queen Gerturde say in Hamlet, "The lady doth protest too much, methinks."

It's only been ten years....i know people who have kept older stickers on cars that they've had way longer than that. Usually when someone puts something on a car, it tends to stay there till they get a new car

I think it's hilarious that when I talk about Paul Bryant it's usually because of a rival fan that brings him up. I guess you don't care about history. So I guess UT's past wins don't count. I assume you believe that no win should be counted once it is in the past.

You judge ALL Alabama fans as if we are all clones of each other. I don't care about Fulmer. It's some UT fans like you that keep bringing it up.

You doofs sell a video of his funeral. Every year a week of so before the anniversary of his death there is always a thread saying, "It's getting close to the saddest day", or something dumb like that on one of your message boards. That's pretty bad.

Honest to the Good Lord above, that is the 1st time I have ever heard of that. Judging ALL Alabama fans as a whole is ignorant. Judging any group of people as a whole is ignorant.

I can't speak for every single Alabama fan that is living or has ever lived. We are all different people, I hope you can understand that.

Its a back door effort by an FSU fan to suggest Gators ought to be worried about UT now. They'd love it if someone would knock us off our perch.

Which is ironic considering that FSU is at this point all but off the map.

Every Bama fan I've ever met is obsessed with Bryant and talk about him like they knew him personally. Everytime I visit a Bama board there is something on the first page talking about him. Do you still have a pregame speech about him before every home game? I've heard yes.
