Quit worrying about it...

We should still win the next three. We have more talent than any of those teams. But, honestly, nothing would surprise me at this point.

The worrisome thing is that it seems like Hart is looking for any excuse to bring Dooley back for another season. I don't think Hart wants to spend the buyout money or take on the work and responsibility of a new coaching hire, so I think he's just hoping he can find some way to keep selling mediocrity to the fanbase. Otherwise, he would have fired Dooley by now.

Talent yes, better coaching, we'll see. IMO we have more talent than Miss St on our roster, but that didn't equate to a win.

I want wins, but I'm not going to expect them from a Dooley coached team.

Dooley deserves to bring HIS recuits to their Junior and Senior class. REMEMBER he saved what there was to save of Kiffen's recuits. He only has two of his classes under him (Freshman and Sophs) So, shouldn't he have the right to coach his team to at least their Junior year? I think a lot of your forget this point.
Absolutely not. Dooley's got to g

We'll win the next three. Easy pickins. Then everybody will praise Dooley on how great and awesome he is by rallying the troops over the three juggernauts. He gets a contract extension and then we promptly get stomped by SMU in the Liberty Bowl. Repeat cycle next year.
The nuclear winter continues.....

Way to be fan and support the team.....you can can not like the coach, but to call losses before the games are played......you, to me define the term fairweather fan......garbage

Sunshine Pumper, Doolander, Dooleyite, Idiot, Loser...all things I have been called since the FL game.

Pretty funny...

I like the coach, btw.

Just make sure our D holds the opponents to 3rd and short in the first 2 downs and we are good to go!!

So no Gruden. It wouldda been AWESOME!!!

No way this team wins out...Mizz has Franklin back. I hope we win all three but can't see us doing it.

Ainge says stability and SEC roots...sounds like Dooley.

Strong was mentioned when Kiffin came but was dismissed because of the interracial marriage issue not working here...sounds silly now.

So, now what?

Let's just wait a bit and sip some beers. Things will work out. Not worried.

Sunseri has sealed Dooley's fate. I can't imagine retaining Sunseri as DC. There is no way , no way a quality DC will come here next year to work on a DD staff. I can't see UT giving a coordinator another sweetheart deal because the HC is on the hotseat.

I am convinced the only solution is to start over. I also believe they have backed themselves into a corner and anything short of a homerun hire will be disastrous. I hope they have enough sense to get this done soon so the new coach has a decent shot at recruiting.

Gruden would be awesome and I'm not convinced its over but a lot of huge hires out there of other names. Very confident we get one even if not Gruden.

Now what? Fire Dools immediately. Then hire Strong. I could care less about any color but BiG ORANGE!!! Though black&camo unis for non-conference games would be cool&exciting 4 recruits.imho. Go Vols!

Strong cant really negotiate right now, just let Dooley fail three more times and even more money flows in.

I think you hit on a couple of key points.

There is NO WAY to retain Sunseri and there is NO credible defensive coordinator that will come into this mess under Dooley.

Agree on the time frame as well. They need to be announcing a new coach by early December if they are going to do it IMO.

Something about what Ainge was saying this morning led me back to my original prediction that it will be David Cutcliffe.
