Everyone has there down times; just ask Michigan, Miami, Texas; and don't forget to ask Bama fans about Mike Dubose, Mike Shula, and Mike Price.

One of our vendors (Bama fan) asked me how I liked their game Saturday. I told him, "A lot better than I liked ours." :lol:

I'm patiently waiting to punch Bama in the teeth. That'll be the day.

That was definitely the highlight of my Saturday though. Watching Bama lose is the 2nd best thing to watching them lose to us

Not sure how long you've been a Vol fan, but I've been a fan since the late '50's or early '60's. Have seen my share of losses and wins, great WR's, running backs, coaches, defensive players and QB's. I even remember the "single wing" formation. Am I getting old or what?

Losing is tough people, so get over it and let's concentrate on the rest of the season! I know losing to the Gators is tough. I dislike them more than any other team that we play.:aggressive:A true Vol fan ALWAYS supports their team, win or lose. We have the coach we're supposed to have. Give him time! Only his second year. He'll have us competitve next year.:thumbsup:

Really!? Are we children? Not only are you fitting the stereotype that was thrown out there to cover all, but you are trying to tie anything on this sight as a censorship debate about your right to free speech. Everyone is so downtrodden and a victim. The level PC addiction is at times overwhelming. I had a very small part in the VOL sports tradition in the early 80's, and I just don't think any of you would have survived that era. I think some of you would have simply climbed to the top of the stadium and jumped off.

We would have beat uf i we would have worn alternate unis. Like the black unie. The surprise factor would have set the checkered stands into a swagtastic blaze of fan awesomeness. People are on the lookout for the smokey grays. But the throwback '09 Halloween Black jersey. C'mon CBJ. It's elementary.

All this stuff really shows the loud group of "fans" we have who really know very little about the game. You know, the ones who never notice substitutions, trends in play calling , blitz and stunt package, etc etc etc..,,they don't see the same game we see..,they just "wake up" at the end of the game and see we lost by a point and start crying and whining...... The same ones hate baseball because.....ITS BORING...they say....PLEASE VOLNATION....overlook them...

Season ticket holder for 30 years. Go to most home games, bowl games, away games. In that time- 1 National championship, 5 SEC championships. Season ticket prices,donations are not easy Need encouragement to keep on,keeping on.
