Washington has two more official visits remaining.

"I'm going to Tennessee next weekend and Miami the weekend after that," he said. "Then I'll make my decision sometime after those trips."

I thought he deserved a thread of his own

He lives about 20 miles from me and word is that Kiffin and Co. are going to be at his school/house today as well. Someone I would really like to get. The Cocks think they have him.

Michigan will continue to push for Under Armour All-American offensive lineman Quinton Washington (Saint Stephen, S.C./Timberland) today when head coach Rich Rodriguez visits the 6-foot-3, 315-pounder at his school and also does an in-home visit. Washington visited Ann Arbor during the season and the Wolverines remain in the mix along with South Carolina and Clemson, where he visited the last two weekends, Tennessee, where he visits this coming weekend and Miami, where he visits the weekend of Jan. 30.
Washington will make an announcement on or close to Feb. 4, which is national signing day.

getting 315 pounds off the ground 27 inches sounds like this kid has the explosive power to drive off the ball.

long arms can help your verticle jump...you swing them to give you more momentum...longer swing = more momentum = higher jump.

Does it help you understand that you reach as far as you can. Then you jump then they do a little math you subtract the high number with the low number. You get the difference then there is your vertical doesn't have anything to do with the length of your arms. Yes they do add a little bit of momentum.
