I thought he would have a break out year last year, but with our offense who could? Maybe he will be one of the surprises this year.

I think this staff can get the players to live up to their abilities and hype. The 0530 work outs are a great start to see who wants to play and whoh is looking for a free ride.

With his skill set he should fit in this O. But does he have the heart? We'll see this spring.

thanks guys ...was just wondering . Seems we have no receivers but there on the sidelines is a 6'2 , fairly fast junior just wasting . The more I see of that kinda stuff , and looking back through the years , Phil really did waste alot of talent . I know there are probably some valid reasons in some cases ...but in some it just seems to be seniority and ' I am gonna do it my way ' . He was a good coach in his time though . I hope Q develops , he seems to have all the tools , and could maybe be one of the guys we are missing

He has been one of the top WR's but hard to notice because of his demeanor. He should succeed in this offense as the SE and maybe even start. Works hard and catches everything but we will see.

um....Fulmer kept Ahmad Paige and D. Moore on the bench for AUSTIN ROGERS and Josh Briscoe, i'm sure there is a horrible explanation for Hancock's lack of PT too. He will likely see the field this fall.

Hancock is another example of players not being developed or utilized. If you look at our roster there is so much potential on there. The cupboard is definitely not bare. It is going to be interesting to see what this new staff does.

I remember hearing about Q making unbelieveable grabs in prac. and I was looking forward to him filling in the vacant WR pos but who knows.

He may look good,,, but how do you know he catches everything,,,, if that was case, he would have played start to stop. Maybe he needs coaching up on running proper routes, then catching. As a 6'2" receiver I hope he reaches his potential.

I remember when Hancock was a true freshman and they talked about how impressive he was in fall camp and how he would more than likely see playing time. I believe it was Trooper Taylor that was so high on him. Nothing ever really came out of it. I assume Fulmer had a a little something to do with that. He probably didn't block well enough I imagine.

Last year Hancock had 0 catches for 0 yds and 0 tds.

As a freshman in 07 he had 16 catches, 165 yds, 3tds.

I don't think this past year was a case of Hancock floundering or not applying himself.

I don't think you can evaluate ANY offensive player based upon last season (unless they were freshmen.) I would tend to look at 2007 as an indication of potential.

I doubt he's a bust, every time he came on the field, (usually on third and short and inside the 20 yd line) he blocked the whole time, I can't remember a ball thrown to him so you can't call him a bust if coaches aren't given him the opportunities.
