Quincy Wilson: "Ducks don't pull a truck"

Only one way to shut them up, this should add fire to the team but being honest, if you need ADDED motivation for Florida, you shouldn't be playing at TN.

Anyway who has played will tell you that all the pregame talk/drama goes out the door when the ball is kicked.

They have good reason to be confident and it isn't just the win streak. The film don't lie people. When FLA watches film of us so far this year, the product we have put on the field, they get confident.

We just have to play our game. Play solid defense. Run the ball, do not turn over the ball, and play solid special teams. If we do these four things, we will have a chance at victory in the fourth quarter.

I'll tell you what I am personally worried about, TURNOVERS. Dobbs can not force the ball! He has to play smart. If a play breaks down ( with our blocking it will happen multiple times ), do not force it into coverage! Live to play another down!

VaTech???

We dominated VaTech? I don't think so. They had more first downs, more total yards, more time of possession. We won because we forced 2 fumbles and VaTech gifted us 3 others. The final score looked great for us, but that in no way was a dominant performance by Tennessee.

And I'd take a repeat performance This Saturday.

They didn't stop us from scoring when we got those turnovers. Maybe the refs could have just moved the ball back 70 more yards when we had great field position so that we could get extra yards to win the "total yards" category. Or, so we could beat them in the "time of possession category" by having to use more time and get more first downs.

this is true, and if you want to cling to something it's that we did get some good production offensively out of the running game when those opportunities presented themselves.

the downside is that we didn't really stop them all that much. also take in to account the 100 yards in penalties against them, and there was a lot of field position lost by them.

long story short, the VT win was a good one, but by no means can anyone really say Tennessee has played a complete game yet.

the good news, neither has Florida. we've had breaks go our way, they've played a very weak schedule.

both teams will see a big step up in talent level this weekend.

the differences for me right now is FL hasn't made the mental blunders we have seen us make, with 11 fumbles, dropped passes, missing wide open WR's, missed fg's etc... and God knows how many penalties we've committed. and their defense is a bad match up for our o line, as it stands today.
