Here are a few things I have seen regarding tickets

1) Tennessee has already sold out its 16k allotment

2) Less than 2000 tickets remain on Ticketmaster as of right now.

3) As of now, UNC has only sold 3k of their 16k ticket allotment to their season ticket holders. Unsold tickets will go on sale to the general public December 9th at 10:00 AM ET through the UNC ticket office.

Here's a link

Anyone on the fence, or anyone worried about obtaining tickets should scoop up UNCs extras in a few days.

Not sure if this is accurate, but GVX said that NC only received an allotment of 10,000 seats:

"North Carolina was allotted 10,000 tickets, according to director of football communications Kevin Best. Best said the school wouldn't know how many tickets it had available until Wednesday, the deadline for its season ticket holders and donors to request seats."

Did any season ticket holders here about their ticket request from Ut today? I have not heard anything yet the website says we will here the week of Dec 6th but since UT has sold their allotment I am worried, my ranking is not very high but I have been able to get bowl tix to outback and chick-fil-a so I thought surely I would get music city tix.

UT student sales begin on Tuesday at 9 AM. 1,200 tickets are allotted at $60 (I assume in the lower tier, as that is face value). I imagine the tickets will go quickly, but I already have tickets for the Loge.

How do you know how many tickets are still available on the UNC site and Ticketmaster??

There was a GVX article saying UNC had sold 3k out of a 10k allotment (which is strange; we had a 16k allotment, and you'd think they'd be the same), and ticketmaster only had 2k remaining.

UT took money out of my account today for the 2 tickets I requested. Also if you go in on your profile on uttix, over on the right I think there's an order history button, and it will show you all the tickets you've purchased.

You should be fine. My donor rank isn't too high either and I got bowl tickets for last year and this year.

Yeah the tickets are first come first serve. They will start from the lower rows first. I bet they'll go pretty fast

It's even more fun than that. Tomorrow we have to log on at 9am to request them on a first come, first serve basis. Then on Wednesday, if we got them, we go wait in line starting at 8:30am to get the tickets starting with level 1. They feel the need to make this more difficult every year.

I have not heard about my request for bowl tickets either but thanks for info on how to check on UT web site. This time of year the lower level seats are preferable to upper deck. The atmosphere should be wonderful - Nashville has done a great job developing this bowl.

the process for Tennessee is:

first they made sure they could charge accounts for those that requested tickets. If your account as a charge against it you are getting requested tickets.

they will start assigning seats today or tomorrow. You should be able to view your Tennessee account on UT site to see if you are allocated lower level or club seats.

You will get lower level or club seats based on your donor level.

Tickets will start going out in mail with 2 day delivery on December 17th.

Tennessee did not get any upper level tickets. they only got club and lower level seats.

The stadium should be about 80-85% orange

not sure about that. corporate tickets take up more than 15-20% and they may not be Orange fans at all. Likely not carolina fans either. There will be many neutral fans present.

I've got some, but want good seats at least in the lower section or first part of the upper somewhere. Probably gonna go pretty early Weds. Not sure when hope no one camps out.

I was stunned that the website worked @ 9am like they said it would. I think this is the first time it's done what it was supposed to do.

We're in the lower bowl, but I'm assuming we're in the endzone.
