1. Did Bo Kimble and Jeff Fryer suit up for UT today? There was a palpable buzz throughout the NO Arena everytime the Tennessee score was posted. 2. Memphis has their hands absolutely full Sunday. Nevada is really good. 3. Nick Fazekas is a top notch player. However, Marcelus Kemp is the Wolfpack's beat player. 4. Good to see Winthrop finally get an NCAA win. Gregg Marshall is the next big thing in coaching.

Agreed on Kemp - he hit those last few FTs down the stretch like they were nothing.

And you just knew it was Winthrop's year - even when they lost the lead, it just felt like it would happen for them. UT strongly considered Marshall before they hired Peterson and Pearl - wonder where he'll be next year...

Marshall has had numerous interviews at schools and never gotten the job. He's a great coach but must be a terrible interview. I think he gets a bigger job after this year.

Either that, or he chooses to opt out and stay put. Don't know, but if I were an AD of a struggling hoops team with lots of fans and $$ I'd certainly try to get him.

I don't think Memphis has lost a game in like 3 months (or says ESPN).I think they hande Nevada.Actually expect them to be around for a long while(hope).

I think Tennessee will beat Virginia fairly handily. A 10 point margin sounds about right.
