What the hell does the corndog thing mean?


It's an attempt to say the Tiger fans eat corndogs and have no class. Anyone that's tailgated at LSU knows that there are no corndogs and in fact have some of the best and varied foods you'll ever eat. (And the LSU fans are always willing to share with you.)

The word corn refers to the breading used on a corndog being made from corn meal. The word dog is a slang word for a weiner. When you put the cornmeal breading around a weiner, you have a CORNDOG. I hope this helps!

Thank you. I now have a greater appreciation of the word corndog. But not exactly what I was going for.:)

Umm, corndogs..our State Fair is going on this week.....they have fried Gator tail..may have to try some.

The corndog reference is a funny burn started by an internet poster a while back (reference). It's caught on. Personally, I think it's senseless. I've seen the swamp people show and it's obvious they only eat rodents and slimy fish out of the swamp.
