Questions about Bryant Denny?

Everyone's joking here. Anyone taking stuff seriously shouldn't be here. I honestly hate to hear about your mother, but you know for a fact no one is referencing anyone in particular with these jokes.

I know, just hit a nerve. I don't take anything on here personally and I hope nobody gets heated about my posts. I know it's just fans talking crap. I'm sure under other circumstances most of us would be sitting around with an "adult beverage" talking crap about some other team, FLA,LSU etc.

1) How much do I need to expect to pay for parking?
2) How close are the parking lots from the stadium?
3) Are there any decent restraunts around the stadium?
4) Are the concessions like ours?
5) What gate do I need to go to to see Our VOLS get off the bus and go into the stadium? Is it fenced in or can we high five them before they enter the stadium?

Any other advice will help, first trip to T-Town.

Thanks in advance GO V O L S :clapping:

1) Parking is usually bout 10 bucks (what was said about Bama bowling lanes is spot on) but if you can't get in there just keep moving down 15th street and turn down Queens City Ave. Prudential Insurance and some flower shop have their lots open for ten bucks also. Its a short walk to Bryant Dr. from there.

You can also park at McFarland Mall and ride over on a shuttle bus. DCH Medical center across the river has the shuttle running to it too. So plenty of places to park.

2) Bama bowl, queens city ave are bout 15 minute stroll.

3) The Strip is one block from the stadium and has some decent places to eat, nothing fancy, just crap that drunk students subsist on. There is a lot of stuff on McFarland Boulevard where the mall is located. All the typical restaurants. Basically Tuscaloosa is a carbon copy of Murfreesboro with a better known university and athletic teams.

4) I haven't been to Neyland since the early 90s so I don't know what you have now but it is typical stadium food. Pizza, hot dogs, wings, nachos, coke. IMHO, save your money.

5) No fences around the stadium (except for the endzone where there is construction going on now). Bama players have their walk in similar to the Vol Walk out front. I assume the opposing team comes in at the same place. Don't know what time they show up though.

Extra: Don't leave the game by McFarland Blvd (headed back to 20/59) unless you have a full tank of gas and time to burn. It takes forever. Better off continuing down 15th and linking over to 20/59 from there. Still takes awhile but nothing like McF.

Good luck on the game and be safe on the trip.

P.S. If you want a large drink at the stadium beware that they come in those plastic cups with Bama stuff all over 'em. Doubt you would want one due to that! But if you are a man of substance like I am you might suck it up and go for the volume. I say don't do it. Those cups seriously have something wrong with them. They smell horrible. Rough stuff! So beware and have fun!

Been there twice and although I can't answer your questions specifically.....I will say that my wife and I have always been treated with respect. The stadium is fine...reminds me of the South Carolina stadium. Never had an issue with my car----though it's always been a rental and I was never really worried about that. Overall, the experience in T. was always better than in Birmingham---where I always had to park in a local's front yard to make sure my car (not rentals at that time) was taken care of......

1) They may charge you more than normal because your car does not require: you to rein in the horse/you to bolt down the couch for travel.

2) Not sure, but I hope you do avoid the rammer jammer yellow streams sure to be flowing from the tide faithful in the parking lots.

3)Heard there is a fantastic Krystals just down the street.

4) They serve pickled pigs feet and one hum dinger of a tater salad.

5) Our VOLS are sure to be made to walk through the same entrance they send bulls named "Night Rider" and "Foo Man Chu" during thier Tuesday night rodeo shin digs.

Some of us actually have jobs that we can go out and make a sales call that generates real income, Troll Czar is only a part time job. What have you done today?

Wow, a salesman! I get paid to sit around and tell other people what to do. As a matter of fact I'm getting paid right now. I won't talk about income because that might upset you (insert poor joke here).

I went to a game in Birmingham back in the late 90's and honestly thought my car would either be gone or without vital parts after the game.
