Question

I’m probably buying a house in Mayberry and some that I see online are well water. I’ve had mostly good experiences with well water, but I’m not a fan of my parents’ well water

Sup. What y’all know about well water?
I miss it, seriously. Where we lived before we bought this place had the best well water I've had. While the Dr said the minerals in it likely causes most if my kidney stones (they've slacked off greatly), it was good.

and just a little advice here from one of my best friends...if you get an old house you might look at getting new pump because it's getting harder and harder around here to find people to work on them who know what they're doing (here in east TN at least)

Sulfer well water is naaass T.
Though allegedly good for you, you can't wash light colors in it. We had bad sulfur water in Ky, and it would turn clothes Orange. There's an old water fountain in town, and the concrete around it is orange it was so bad there.

I don't care how good it is for you, it ain't no miracle liquid and therefore not even close to being worth it to even have to smell it.
