Why is the NC State game not on thursday?

since it starts on a friday at 7:30 it will be hard for recruits to watch the game except for maby the 4th quater. but for-is-al why not on a thursday?

We only recruit Knox co now all the schools moved their games to thur lol!

My only guess is then you'd have a one day gap to the first Saturday.

Also more people could probably travel for a Friday night game vs Thursday night. That applies for me anyway, work on Fridays during the day, not Saturday

Its about the money they didn't think their would be as big of a turn out if it was on Thursday because people have to work on Fridays

If we go out there and play terribly maybe some of them won't see it. If we kill them the recruits will watch later. If we just win like expected then it won't make much difference. I don't think it is a big deal, especially since it is on ESPN U. If it were a network or ESPN game I would think more of it.

I don't mind Friday night. I like it more than Thursday night. Getting the game out of the way on Friday night, gives me the chance to catch more teams on Saturday.

I'm with you. If it is on Thursday, then my productivity is wrecked for Thurs AND Fri. Now, I'm just going to take Fri off and have a hell of a day

As far as recruits watching or not, it's not that big of a deal. By the end of the season, I doubt the recruits could tell you who won or lost without looking it up. We view things as fans. Some recruits are fans, for others it's business.

I like the Friday night game. As others have said we can watch the games on Sat knowing we're already 1-0.
