I don't like Rogan being involved in this (if there is anything to this story). He's already on a short leash is he not. Don't think he should go across state lines for late night parties during summer workouts.

Here's the scoop, I've been waiting to find out more.
Yesterday a caller asked Hyams on his show about the incident. Hyams said he'd been working on it since monday, but no incident report had been filed. Today he opened the show saying a report has now been filed and read what I assume was the report itself. He mentioned the names of 3 UT football players who were listed as witnesses in the report. He stated at least twice that the UT players had done nothing wrong. They were at the apartment of a girl who is on the gymnastic team at KY. She is a girlfriend of one of the UT players. Another witness was the girlfriend of a KY player. Some of the witnesses had guns. KY players showed up at the door, I am not clear as to if a KY player had a shotgun or if it was somebody with the KY players, but that person was outside. A UT player managed to get the door closed and they called police. The girlfriend of the KY player and the KY player got out of the apartment. I think Hyams said the charge is Burglary, though that seem a bit strange. That's the nuts and bolts and all from memory of something that was said about 3 hrs. ago.

OK well it looks like there was some factual basis for the rumor. If the radio report was correct and UT players did nothing wrong - I am glad its cleared up. Thats why I started the thread way back when I first heard about it to get to the bottom of it.

We're blowing this out of proportion--these student-athletes were just trying to get a head start on the annual Blue-Orange Blood Drive.
