Were the players suspended for 2 games? If so will they still be out for this game? I don't think a cancelled game should count.

There are investigations going on. None of them start besides Callaway and Scarlett. Insider on their board said not to expect them back for a long time.

I have a bad feeling they will. Mainly because I don't see the game being played this weekend. I guess we'll see...

Hoping for opposing player suspensions to hold out thru our game seems a bit weak sauce. If we beat them without the players but can't if they have them, do we really deserve the W?

Has there ever been a Florida or Alabama player suspended for the Tennessee game? If so, was he a starter? I can't remember one.

Investigation is still ongoing and may include another player. That part is rumor however. I don't see the PD spending much time on the investigation this week with the cleanup from the hurricane to deal with.

Speaking of, FSU vs Miami has been cancelled this week and rescheduled for Oct. FSU is out is school till Friday. There is some talk about moving the Fla vs Tn game, decision due tomorrow.

Indefinite suspension is defined in the University of Florida bylaws. It is defined as a suspension of at least one game, and possibly a permanent suspension, not to include any game against Tennessee in the same season. The lesser known "Grier clause" states that if a player is suspected of wrongdoing, but hasn't been publicly exposed, the investigation by the coaching staff will not conclude until the final gun against Tennessee.

I really don't think it will be played this weekend but I'm not an insider. Just going off of what I'm seeing on TV. FSU cancelled classes through Friday. I just don't see them playing it. I guess it could be moved to a neutral site but I would think they would say the players/coaches need to be home helping their families.

I hope I'm wrong. I've been before. Just ask my wife lol!

Are you serious? A win is a win. After breaking an 11 game drought last year I will enjoy each and every win over UF regardless of who suits up for them.

1. Life doesn't care about what anyone deserves or we would have lost to tech.

2. If a team beats us when we have one serviceable DT, do they deserve to win? Should we blame Butch? Should we set our hair on fire? Probably not, but it happened. Just sayin.
