When I was in college I had shoulder length hair and a goatee. I went to visit one of my buddies that I grew up with and some of the kids in his neighborhood told me I looked like Big Daddy Cool Diesel (?) He was a former basketball player at UT. Kevin Nash (maybe). Every time I would go to visit my friend, the kids would yell "Diesel" when I got out of my car. It always cracked me up...
Big Kev always used to stop in at the Roman Room when he had a show in Knoxville. What you see on TV is what you get with him. He's a scream. Vince Russo and Time Warner had no involvement in the AWA. That disaster was totally brought about by Bischoff and his father figure/"mentor" Verne Gagne. I actually may read Bischoff's book to see who he blames for disasterous decisions like disbanding the Four Horsemen, letting Benoit, Malenko, Saturn and , Guerrero leave for the WWE, hiring Sid Vicious, and turning creative control over to Big Kev. I'm sure he has some ridiculous story as to how none of those things are his fault.I didn't say I was Vince Russo and Time Warner.
But I DO believe that Controversy Creates Cash, which is the name of Erik's book that debuted on the NYT Best Sellers list yesterday!

I remember reading the Sting stuff somewhere. I think it may have been an Alex Marvez column. Big surprise: Bischoff taking credit for something he had nothing to do with. Did you realize he invented oxygen and sunlight? The article I was reading didn't mention anything about that... only commented on the Sting that appeared up in the rafters there for awhile.
It just talked about Hall appearing on Nitro one week, warning of a "take over", Nash joining him next week, then Hogan being revealed at Bash at the Beach.

Wasn't Sting initially supposed to join the nWo, then it ended up being Hogan instead?
