Do you guys have a better option? If so, I can understand the criticism. If not, then what's the point?

He's as good as it gets for us this year. Thanks once again, Fulmer...

Aren't you a UK fan? Thought so. Please just go away and leave the big-time football in our capable hands. Hugs and kisses... Jackhole.

I expect to see Nick Stephens in the game at some point. Somehow I have the feeling that he may start, or Kiffin might try the alternating QB approach.

Crompton is our man. Hopefully he will execute better. Kiffin has balls to stick with him....That's gotta mean alot for highschool recruits. Next year will be better.

Randall Cobb, oh. Wait.

Randall Cobb probably is our best qb. Problem is we need him as a playmaker more. If Hartline sucks, which I don't think he will, we might see him back there again. We do have two 4-star true freshmen qb's they might give a shot. I really don't know.

He may not be as good as it gets. We know that coaches can't make a decent QB out of him. 2 staffs have tried now. We know he is gone next year too. With much help by coaches like Crompton has had there maybe another that could be a decent QB with experience. He must be given the O and left alone to see though.
I've said it last year and this year in several threads. The kid's attitude is what bugs me most. Just seems like it all doesn't matter that much. It might but he doesn't show it to the fans.

If you think Kiffin is going to start Stephens at Fla of all places you're totally clueless.

I also think a direct snap to a RB would be a better option much of the time. LOL

It's just a hunch. I don't think he will nor do I expect it... but he might try something for a mental edge.. who knows what. Just because Kiffin said he won't do the alternating QB routine doesn't mean he stick to his word. Then again, this could be the Coors talking.

Just stop.

Rotating QB's is a good idea when you have two QB's that are proficient at different aspects of the game... i.e. pocket qb vs option QB. See your team circa 2006.

Crompton and Stephens run the same kind of pro style offense. Go away

I don't really enjoy the UK board because it's all rah, rah, like every team. When I get in the mood to post, which isn't very often, I choose another team's board just to get a feel. Don't worry, I'll be gone soon enough never to be heard from again.

I really don't post that much to be honest. I just worked from home today and pretty much f'd around all day. Plus, I don't get the feeling that I'm all that welcome.

I know Crompton gets bashed ALOT, but Im not being sarcastic when I say what is IT that has him so out of rythm. I know we tend to pass the buck back to Phil (and I am in no way a fulmerite...GO CLK!) but JC has good size and a good arm and I will admit that I was excited when he signed. I coach high school football (which mean absolutely nothing) so I'm used to scouting meiocre to good QBs and in my opinion (which also means abloutely nothing) when he drops back and a never was like me is able to know exactly where he is throwing the football from the view from my couch I can only imagine what an SEC secondary is going to see. I wish he would at least glance to the other side of the field. I am behind him and the vols I just thought him staring down his primary receiver was a little obvious of where he was going to throw. Anyway I'm behind all of them till the end. Go Vols

I say Crompton has five turnovers Saturday. Four picks and a fumble.
