Going to opponents stadiums have even more adrenaline man. People booing and heckling, it gets you rowdy and amped up. The lowder they are the more exciting it is. Really it's nothing you can explain, all you can do is experience it. Your adrenaline doesn't stop until the next day. That's when your body crashes and burn, literally. You don't sleep after games because your still amped up. It is like a drug.
My man!!! I need another tv, that one just burned out.😁. What's good!!!
Nothing was clicking on any cylinder. Some probably felt it was our game before it even started and It got the best of us. I threw up after that game many times. It was very upsettingThe only Florida-Tennessee game where afterward I was truly upset.
I just wanted to play in the Rose Bowl. Florida had never been to the Rose Bowl, obviously, and I thought it would really be cool. Actually knew someone living in LA at the time and had plans to crash. Beating Miami wasn't really a consideration. I just wanted to go to the Rose Bowl.
The losses in 90, 92, 98, 03, 04.....not a whole lot was lost (although, I guess Florida would have won the East if they won the game in 98 with a chance to win the SEC). And, if in 2001, the end result would have meant losing out on an Orange Bowl or Sugar Bowl berth.....I would have been disappointed (who likes to lose), but not too upsetting. But, still upset about missing out on the Rose Bowl.
Now, as an opposing fan who will dare ask what the others here won't but are probably dying to......what the heck was going on in the 2001 SEC Championship game?
Mauk torched us, and there weren't a lot of adjustments made. Then a huge momentum swing took place and I recall I turned the ball over and dante turned it over and Lsu capitalized. To this day it hurts the most to lose that game, makes me bitter and sick. I just don't feel as a team we left our all out there. When we were down our minds kept telling us your up, so it was kind of a state of shock too. The coaches were shocked. Proper adjustments weren't made. We needed to re focus and didn't. We are the better team and got over confident I feel.

My wife is from Louisiana. She and her fam are LSU fans. LSU made a T shirt commemorating the game. Her brother sent it to her as a gift. It says, "time to separate the men from the boys" and has the final score. It still hangs in her closet.
. The first time, my heart was pounding, and I couldn't stop yelling and jumping. The adrenaline was nothing I ever felt or felt since. I literally felt like I was bout to go into a war zone. The last time was the same feeling with a bunch of tears.
