Question for Oregon fans.

No. In 4 years of Ducks home games I never heard it once. The "GO - DUCKS" chant back and forth between North and South sides of the stadium is our preferred pre-game battle cry.

You know who had a nifty chant? UCLA.

"UC... LA!... UC... LA!..." Oy, that sucked to hear at the end of the game, but it was a pretty good one.

There are some decent chants in the Pac-10. OSU has their "O-O-O-O-O! S-S-S-S! U-U-U-U! OSU! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!" which can sound good with a lot of people behind it. The husky "bark" phenomena is loud, I'll give it that much... and they claim Husky Stadium to be the origin of "the wave." To this day, every time "the wave" has never really caught on in Autzen. It always seems to die when it hits the Student Section and I can always remember hearing students yelling to not partake because it's a UW tradition.

I am very confident the wave started in soccer stadiums in Europe. Don't let those purple bastards fool you.

In any event, the wave is pretty common in Neyland when things are going well. I remember a lot of wave action at the biannual Georgia beatdown last year.

Wouldn't surprise me if the 'Dawgs were full of ****. They don't have much to clutch to these days.

I was at the (seventh consecutive) Oregon beatdown of UW in Seattle last year and have never been in a more hostile, disrespectful, stadium (and not in a good way.)

Of course, I guess that's to be expected. UW/UO despise
each other. Oregon State is our "little brother" rivalry. You hope he does well... just not against you. UW is the ******* bully down the street who you hope gets hit by a truck.

As I've said before......... Just keep the taildraggers from Seattle off the white carpet and grandma's leg, spread plenty of newspapers on the floor and hope for the best. Ever since they voted us out of the Rose Bowl in 1948 things haven't gone well with the puppies.

They are some of the most arrogant fans you'll ever find. Sure we've got some now, but nothing like the taildraggers.

Do the fans at Autzen do the Mighty Ducks "Quack" chant?

Autzen doesn't seem to have a cogent "mass chant" that ever seems audible at once. (Granted, I am often over in the Mashofsky center in line for beers, or in a 25 person restroom line )

The caucophony is generally a "vuvuzela-esque" array of
"OOOOOOOOOOOO"s, Duck Calls, and random chants.

It's just friggin' loud for a venue of it's occupancy.
It's designed and architectured to magnify and direct all possible decibles of sound directly to the field.

I used to think UW fans @ home were some of the most disrespectful fans. ( of course, a generalization is just a generalization ) And I've met plenty of fun Huskies to tailgate with @ Autzen. But playing at UW, tends to yield numerous incidents of Duck fans getting doused with beers & jeers. And not just college kids. Older fans, People with families.

But As of last year, i say the U of Arizona fans take the official "$hitSt0rm troopers of the PAC-10" title.
Throwing bottles at our Cheerleaders was a new low.
So was the student section rushing the sidelines with a bunch of time left to play during our x2OT possession.

From what i'm reading off Twitter, Record Away-team Duck fans are amassing in TN, and having a blast so far.

win or lose, we'll treat yall right when you visit in 2013.

cheers to all

Just out of curiosity, so far UT fans have been my favorite to forum with thus far. The ribbing is expected, but people generally are respectful, and truly seem to want to just talk football, rather than flame and troll.

So who are just "those guys' out of online SEC fans who
are just the worst online with etiquette, trolling, flaming, etc. ?

Also, as far as going to your team's game at their stadium?
Who's the biggest dudebags?

I saw 1 guy sporting Oregon gear amassed at Walmart last night.

He wandered around for a while and walked out empty handed. Odd duck I thought.

I still got to give it to the Dawgs. That UA game was particularly heated. Gameday there, night game, national TV, BOTH teams playing for the rose bowl, 2OT, etc., etc. It was a war and emotions were high.

The Huskies on the other hand are douche bags through and through. Through good games and blowouts, year in and year out. Last year in Seattle, our group had beers, eggs and cups thrown at us. Boo'ed relentlessly. Just met with hostility everywhere we went.

Some $hit talking is acceptable, expected even. But UW fans don't know when to quit.
