I see in the recruiting forum they have a thread that is "Hot Recruiting News" and is nothing more than ACTUAL news about recruits whether from the recruits themselves or announcements with no discussion, or it's very well respected and very little posts from anyone aside from the aforementioned. Is it possible to do that with coaching news? I live in Illinois and don't get much here regarding Tennessee so it would be nice to have a thread to go to that doesn't include sifting through everyone's opinions on coaches, rather, it could have actual news on searches, changes, promotions, hires or firings.

Tennessee coaches? There isn't really any news to post about, is there?

Other than new Vols AD Jeremy Foley hiring Jon Gruden as head coach, Chip Kelly as Offensive Coordinator and Dick LeBeau as Defensive Coordinator, no, there's not much...

I haven't heard. Wasn't sure what has actually been talked about. There may be nothing. I just didn't want to miss anything not being in an SEC area. It may not be worth the time...was just curious.

Freak could maybe make a news forum or subforum up top. Assign a few individuals who are trustworthy to update it with actual news.

Probably not worth the time.

I wasn't sure how much news came out and how often. I assumed there was more news about whatever is going on down there that doesn't make it up here. Obviously I would hear if a head coach was hired or fired but not sure how much goes out regarding potential assistant coach candidates, who's being interviewed, etc.

I always get my news from Saturday down south. Just Google it.

Illvol, unfortunately it would be a rather short thread. There really is no news currently on CBJ other than highly educated VN opine and wishful thinking.

You would be better served to use google news and search vols coaching news. In case you missed it Rock Gullickson is the top candidate for the open S&C position.
