Since you guys are the smartest ones on VN, Can you give your synopsis of the game? What do you think the season will look like? I'm tired of hearing how much we were out-coached and how we should fire Dooley. I need some intelligence for the day.

Go back and watch the second halves Florida, Bama, LSU, UGA, Arky and Kentucky games from last year. That will be all you need to know.

well, in my professional opinion, we were outcoached and should fire Dooley. Hope that helps

Shouldn't be that hard to figure out that we're not going to beat good SEC teams which includes GA, Bama, and USCjr. A good chance we lose either miss state or missouri game. 8-4 at best which is poor IMO considering the talent and experience on this team.

I'm afraid intelligence for a day will be completely insufficient to help.

If Burton had been stopped from making that 80 yard run down the right side, which they ran all night long to the right side, had that been a turning point for us? Coaches did not correct that outside run all night. What game are the coaches watching and not making adjustments?

Outside contain and pursuit angles were dreadful.

They traveled to A&M Sat and then Back to Florida and Then to Tennessee We had more time than them to be ready!

Have you taken the time to actually watch them play over the last 2 seasons? They are an 8 win team tops. Do you really think our ceiling should be less than that?

This Fanbase gets dumber and dumber every week. Support your freaking coach and your freaking team. You think Derek Dooley isn't trying his hardest to recruit the right guys and win in the SEC. He works hard and all he gets is crap from us Vol fans because we got beat by a team that played better than us. Calm Down Vol fans we have 9 more games left. Do you think the 2007 team gave up when they got beat 59-20 and were 1-2 with a beat down by Cal?

Not that I disagree with your sentiment but you have to admit the highlighted part of your statement is not entirely true. I mean we also give him $1,800,000.00 or so EVERY year to go along with the crap. It's sort of a package deal. :)

Its the same crap every thread.
We suck.
We gave up.
We recruit three stars.
Stop playing Kenny Chesney.
Fire Chaney.
Fire Dooley.
We lost to an average UF team with a lot of 5 stars.
We sound like a bunch of babies.

lol ummm you do realize Dooley isn't in the top 4-5 recruiting in the SEC . We have one of the highest recruiting budgets in football. We have some of the best facility's . We pay him well and have given him a free ride on year 1. Most of the best coaches in football at one time or another steals a game or 2 by out coaching the other team . The blame this season goes on Dooley and Dooley alone. Last year 50/50 this year 100%

p.s. even you said "We need to go after a 5 star running back every year. That is how Bama wins games." lol

I support my team and coach. I have all the optimism in the world for Dooley. I was at the game it was painful to watch and I almost cried. I don't think Dooley can get it done but I want him to get it done. He needs our help to fill up the stands. I will have faith in all my coaches no matter how bad they are. Vandy and Kentucky do it every week. Support your coach and team is all i'm asking.
