I'm not trying to be mean but does Dooley last three years if we have many more performances like today?

the administration and those of influence recognize the task that coach dooley has and did when he was hired. BUT, if ticket sales fall off and fans can't support they would have to make a move which means in 3 years, Tennessee would be right back starting over which is where we are right now. be 3 lost years

Gotta give Dooley more than one season to rebuild a program that he was brought into very suddenly. Enough time to at least properly recruit and let the players get some stability for once.

Everyone may be singing a different tune about giving DD time after an army of 50,000 Alabama fans are blasting Rammer Jammer in Neyland next month. That's when it finally became clear that Fulmer had to go bacause the fan support wasn't there anymore.

This is still Fulmer's team and a direct reflection on how he had let it fall apart. This should in no way reflect in a negative way on Dooley.

Boy..it doesnt take much to turn this crowd.

Atleast give the guy a chance to implement his system.

AND IT TAKES MORE THAN A YEAR.

If he hasn't got enough of his system in place to the point that we can beat a sorry C-USA opponent a third of the way into the season, then he's gotta go. I know we've got a depleted roster, but we still have twice the talent UAB has.

If we keep starting over with new coaches, we'll never move forward. This program needs stability for us to recruit players that want to be here. We're not a good football team and that's a fact, but changing coaches isn't gonna solve the problem at this point......we need players that are committed and show some heart. I think the players that CDD recruited are the leaders on the team and that's a problem because they're freshman. CDD isn't happy with the older leadership on this team and THEY are the ones that need to go because they lack what it takes to win (heart). I think we'll have a winning team by the end of CDDs third year because he'll have his players in place and we'll have some depth. With all of that said, I HATE losing and this game makes me sick.

See, you say this but what about when Saban lost to Louisiana-Monroe in his first season? What if Alabama had fired him right then and there? You just gotta have a little patience.

the amount of idiots on this board amazes me. for some reason they think we should be goin for the SEC title. fulmer is the reason we're in this mess, but we have some idiots that would welcome him back.

Just shows that even the best coaches can lose games they're supposed to win by large margins (and we haven't technically lost yet though this is pretty embarrassing). Just gotta suck it up and hope we can improve from here on out.

Exactly. There was reason for fans to see good things to come with Saban, he'd won a NC in the past. DD doesn't have any history except for being a crappy coach in one of the crappiest conferences in football. Just get rid of this guy who is in over his head and try to get a real coach this offseason before things get even worse than they already are.

Terrible coach and hire until proven otherwise!
In hindsight I wish we had just kept Kippy Brown for this miserable year and gotten a known coach with known coaching ability at this level and started 2011 with some hope.

gtfo, i'll hold my judgement on the coach until he has a couple of years behind him
