If the 3-4 looks like sunseri's this year the Vols will never probably get a 34 maybe JP should do like he said and play what is best for the players like 43 52 44 46 25 358 what ever it takes but they got to improve.

I'm a fan of 358, if we can get it by the zebras.

Yeah coach Pruitt should just keep pushing off the switch to a 3-4 and forget all the success he had UA, FSU, and UGA thank god he ran whatever the players said they liked best there Instead of coaching his system and recruiting players that fit his system.

They were as bottom as could be the last two seasons playing 4-2-5. Only way is up.

It’s almost like Butch has been recruiting for a 3-4 all these seasons and shoving them into that weak 4-2-5. They just have to learn the mentality but they’re already better abandoning the junk that was being run.

What intrigues me about all of this is our defense wasn't that bad during the first half of many of the games last season until they got winded due to the offense not being able to sustain a drive. Does this mean that our offensive line may be better than we expect?

Possibly. I don't think it can be any worse than it was last year. I'd also like to think Helton is a capable OC who can make the necessary schematic adjustments when players are injured. I'm still skeptical of our O-line, especially without Trey Smith and Chance Hall, but yesterday was a positive step that will hopefully build confidence for those who played. Even if it was a spring game.

This. The 1st team D line was consistently beaten by a makeshift Oline. At times there were gaping holes and running lanes. Tuttle looked like milk toast. Tuttle is not a NT.

actually Kyle Phillips had a really good day and it’s hard for me to ride Tuttle very much until he’s been thru summer workouts and into the fall COMPLETELY healthy. As far as injuries....Tuttle took a huge hit on his lower legs from behind by a HUGE OL. That’s kinda hard to be critical of him for as well....NT? Maybe not but I think you’ll see him playing because he MUST.

EXACTLY! <blue font> For God's sakes don't change the system that made us a laughingstock of Vandy fans, Vandy freakin' fans, who have a winning streak against us! Let's keep it to ensure we maintain how well we've done in recent years!!
