My roommate forgot to request a ticket for the Cincinnati game (I know, I know...). I've read on here many times in the past that you can essentially sit wherever you want. Assuming he can get a ticket during the open sales period, does this hold true?

As long as he doesn't try to sit in a really low row he should be fine. Rows 20+ are usually free game. If he tries to sit in the 5th row that might be a problem.

My ticket is in the 37th row of H. I'm guessing we'll be fine then?

I'm gonna be that guy and tell the usher exactly where he is and turn him in. Jk he should be fine so no worries.

Or if he stands up during the game and says anything above a whisper.

Nah Ill be standing in the student section, but I would rather not have a sweaty pair of balls against the back of my head or vice versa or stand sideways/at an angle to fit in a row.

Yeah you should be fine. Just don't be one of those of people who takes someone else's seat because someone is in your seat. Man up and tell them to get out.

there is a second request period for student tickets if there are some left over (there will be).
