Question about the non-fumble pass

I was helping my dad with something at the time that Nebraska's QB had that forward pass that was reviewed and upheld. I saw the replays but from a distant... was I blind tthinking the arm was still going backward and the ball, afte coming loose, bounced off the defenders helmet and looked like it was all coming forward, or was that the worst call in the history of sports?
Wish I had been up close to the tv during that series, so could someone tell me if it was a good call or not?

I felt like it was very close and the play would have been upheld no matter which call had been originally made on the field.

It was hard to see what happened....it didn't look like the QB threw the ball - it looked more like Barnett hit the ball

But it came out with such velocity that it made it look like a QB throw....

I thought it was pretty clear it was a fumble. would have been a sack for DB and the record. Oh well. He still got the record and the good guys put a good showing and sent one of the greatest group of seniors (and juniors leaving early) out in style. Good Job to all. Truly an impressive group of kids.

It was a fumble. Ball came out while his arm was back, he then moved his arm forward without the ball in hand while Barnett knocked the ball forward at the same time.

Yea, I think Barnett knocked the ball forward so hard it made it look like the QB threw the ball

It was clearly a fumble. Sometimes I think these instant reply refs are either blind or they need to grow a pair. Another case of instant replay failing to do the job it was designed to do.

Or whatever they were making up as they went. Those refs need to be kidnapped, and forced to have lasix surgery. I also end this season hoping they start drug testing for refs. It's time.

They called it a BS pass and didn't even call grounding. Later the QB was under so much pressure he tossed the ball like a hot potato and they had to call it. We get the worst refs...

It was close but the UT player's helmet or shoulder pads caused the ball to go forward. Bad call by the refs.

The science is settled. Barnett knocked that ball loose before the QB's arm moved forward. Lucky call for Nebraska. Just like the lucky non-calls on them for holding him.
