What's the time frame on their recoveries? I know they're out for the year but I'm talking long term...

I honestly have no idea how long a torn pectoral recovery is...also, if I'm Shy and the coaches I just go ahead and concede a RS for next year...give him plenty of time to recover this time

I wonder if Shy will ever play football again, wasn't his recent injury severe?

Off the top of my head, the initial report on Tuttle was that he'd also miss the majority of spring ball. Not sure about Mac.

McKenzie depends on if surgery or not...
Shy was ACL right?...so no telling there

I'd say McKenzie is back by summer and Tuttle needs a full year off

I could be wrong, but I don't believe this year's injury to Shy Tuttle will be nearly as bad of a recovery as the injury from last year. Last year involved multiple surgeries and at least one broken bone. I believe this year the injury is simply ligament damage to the knee. While not an easy deal, I would think it should be a considerably shorter recovery time.

I would expect KMac to be available for spring practice, but maybe limited. Sounds like Tuttle will probably be very limited, if available at all, for spring practice.

Tuttle's injury may be a little more complex. Leg problems, especially after you've injured your legs before, can be tough, especially when you weigh 300+.

Then again, I'm not a doctor.
