Even if that poster is correct, its actually immaterial unless Florida attached a big fat check next to the proposal. imo Florida acted in bad faith, the SEC failed to mitigate, and LSU has moved on.

This is bush league stuff. Ultimately, if this game is never played, the SEC and Sankey are to blame. This hurricane didn't just pop up out of nowhere. Contingency plans should have been in place.

I think Feldman and Brando cover/critcize pretty well the SEC's handling of this, both schools being at fault, and how it played out (along with some underlying issues in college football of each part/institution doing only what's best for their constituency rather than the game as a whole, and no one above them to balance out / look to maintain the credibility of the game itself).:

I'm to the point where I think LSU and Florida should forfeit the game, and the SEC should dock their check by 50%, just because they and their fans are annoying the hell out of me with this.

I don't care how LSU feels about the L. Maybe an additional hit to the pocketbook will hurt. Maybe you won't be able to afford Herman at that point. Give em both the L and a lot less dough. Sounds good to me.

Lol no. LSU offered to host the game. UF refused for zero reason. That was the solution. Period. They would of payed UF all the income from the game like they did SC last year.

Just saw that the weather in Gainesville, FL tomorrow is sunny & partly cloudy, high of 88 F (low of 66), with 10% chance of rain all day.

The cancelling of the LSU game is a complete sham.
