I totally agree all you have to do is look at his stats in hs, never has been a duel threat. It appears his family has money and was sent to camps and had a good marketing team to earn him the star rating, because his hs stats certainly are not what a 4 star rated qb should have in hs.

The only reasonable explanation is that the Guarantanos have connections to the mafia.

Maurer is 205 in soaking wet pads

I hate to be the one to give you the bad news but I happened to see Maurer standing right beside Bailey after the UGA game and they are the same build. Can barely even see the height difference.

The height I'm not really concerned about. I expect Bailey to be 215-20 by fall camp, hoping Maurer can at least get up to 210-215 but I'm not that hopeful. If JG & Shrout put on 5lbs and Hill loses some from conditioning then we're going into fall camp with a pretty stout group. Lots of unknowns at this point but the competition should bring out some interesting results.
