I'm just curious how the rest of the Volnation would answer these questions.

1) Who do you think will start?..........I think JG. CJP wouldn't just throw a true freshman QB to the wolves (or dogs) against that defense to start.
2) Who do you want to start?........Again JG. See above.
3) How many pass attempts does BM get? Over or under 14........I say over 14. I see BM getting significant playing time, just a tad less than JG.
4) Does JTS play any meaningful snaps?.........I know "meaningful" is subjective, but I say no. I see this as JG's or BM's battle.

1) JG unfortunately

2)BM, Yes its a bad game to throw him into but someone needs to get some in game experience without worrying about the outcome. JG would be a past memory if I was Head Coach (stick a fork in him, he is done) why keep putting him in when his ceiling has long been reached? His record speaks for itself.

3) i'd say right around 14 but hopefully over

4)nothing meaningful but i'd be ok if he comes out and throws a garbage time touchdown (or any touchdown for that matter) we need true competition with our QB's and I prefer everyone looking over their shoulder.

Time to plan for the future and not worry about the outcome. Experience with our young qbs is most important IMO

I don't like how BM has been put in for a series or 3 and then pulled. Give the guy AT LEAST a full half of football regardless of what happens. He will make rookie mistakes but lets see how he responds to them without being pulled out.

According to the PFF player ratings which Volquest publishes, JTS is the highest rated QB on the team. BM is the lowest rated player on the team at any position. This entire QB mess is simply beyond my comprehension.

Well you can’t argue with numbers. Let’s introduce analytics to college football. JTS gets the start!!

1) JG - If CJP starts Maurer and it's 28-0 after Q1, the heat will only intensify on Pruitt. If JG starts and it's 28-0 after Q1, the media soundbite will be, "Well, that's what we expected."
2) BM - Maurer comes in on the third series
3) Over
4) Yes, but it depends how you define meaningful. Any snaps against a top 5 team is invaluable experience for a redshirt freshman QB. I see him taking some snaps late in Q3.

BM , JG has been identifying as a True Freshman this year so why does it matter
2) Who do you want to start?........Again JG. See .
Again BM, again JG is identifying as true freshman that didn't enroll early

Knowing Chaney over 14 but I hope they try to get some rushing game and mix it up.

NO, I'd say he's gone next year. FCS in California

1) That’s an interesting take. I haven’t thought of that, but it makes sense.
4) I was thinking more like 4th quarter. Just depends how bad the blow out is.

1. JG
2. Not JG
3. More than 14 snaps but less than 14 passes. Most will be handoffs and he won't be able to prove himself.
4. I sure hope not. He sucked vs Chattanooga.

I think that the other guys will get enough reps to convince most of the level-headed fan base that while JG is VERY limited in his ability to execute at an SEC level, he's more capable, at this point, than the other two.

Don't think they can run a three WR set with one running back with the offensive line we have and quarterbacks we have. So maybe try two TE set with fb, rb and 2 wrs. Maybe having extra blockers will allow us to run a little bit better and have more protection on the back end for the quarterback to throw.
Just a thought. The other way just will give us same result

By the time BM gets in, they should have their 2nd and 3rd string in so maybe he won't get crushed. Just let him get used to playing. I think he is our only chance at scoring any points. I figure he is good for about 10, including his first TD pass.

So JG's future is bright? Nice

Not really but your assumptions and opinions are dull. JG is not as awful as you make him out to be and not as bas as his record shows. Is it time to move on and look towards the future? Yea probably.
