This is a bad look for the playoffs. This is very similar to the Vols playing ETSU this year.

I didn't even realize the NFL was playing today

Probably explains why they put the A&M/Miami game on early

Knew the NFL games would eat up ratings in the two later games.

Re:NFL playing on Saturdays. They are forbidden to play on Fridays and Saturdays between certain dates. Fridays to protect high school football and Saturdays for college.

Part of their antitrust thing-which is WAY more valuable to them than another viewing window.

Notice-those early season Friday games the NFL has done last few seasons originated from a different country. Always loopholes available ha ha.
you missed the signing of the fausian bargain i tell you what

Today is the beginning of the end for non G5 teams. Abundantly clear that Tulane and JM don’t belong in these playoffs. The non G5 need a separate division and their own playoff.
This will keep happening to avoid a lawsuit.

Oregon how dare you allow little JMU to score a TD. You are a disgrace. Don’t ever consider yourself one the elites…….ever! Hide your duck head in shame!

so 41-17 now so if the ducks wanted to score 42 they cannot.... so technically they cannot name the score!

I keep touting a proposal...one day, some one will listen:
- 8 conferences of 20 teams...man up ND and join a conference
- 4 major (keep names SEC, B1G, ACC, B12) and 4 minor
- Teams can move from minor to major and vice versa based on performance over a given time much like many soccer leagues operate
- Each conference has 4 pods
- Winner in each pod goes into a 4 team bracket for that conference title
- The 8 conference champs pair into a bracket to decide NC

Season isn't any longer than it is currently.
Playoff would include 32 teams.
