There has been a ton of debate over Hooker, Milton, and Bailey. Hooker has looked better than the other two so far. However, the ugly truth is this, there have only been 2 SEC caliber QBs on the Hill since 2008, Bray and Dobbs. Worley was a warrior who played his heart out in an offense that wasn't a fit. Peterman and Ferguson never got the coaching/development they needed. Dormady wasn't a fit and didn't get developed. And well, there was JG. Not sure any of our current QBs are SEC caliber either, hopefully Jackson can come in and be QB1 right off the bat.

Hooker is SEC caliber. That doesn’t mean he’s a star, but there is no doubt he’s SEC caliber.

Bailey actually reminds me of Worley.

Of course you’re entitled to your opinion, but this is a very strange thread to start right now. How can you be anything but exceptionally high on Hooker at this particular moment?

Wait. What? Have you bothered to check out stats that verify or contradict your opinion? Check out the link below.
Here's the deal. Let's look at the year-to-date passing efficiency rating for all QBs across the country. Our Guy, Hendon Hooker ranks 5th in the nation. Yeah, that's only one position below Bryce Young at Alabama, and it's five positions above Corral at Ole Miss who folks are touting for the Heisman.
Chill man. Things are good at QB.

Hooker has done more than enough to prove himself. He has 12 touchdowns(10 passing) and 1 int and competing almost 70% of his passes. What else can you ask for?

Even with Jackson coming in, Hooker has 1 more year and has shown he is a difference maker. We are 4-1 if he is QB1 start of season and getting all the reps that Milton was getting. He had improved week after week. Just imagine him starting game 1 and improving since week 1.

I hope not. We are going to have to get to the point that we can hope freshman can come in and redshirt and learn if we’re going to be good again.
We need experience and leadership at QB.
Hopefully one we have will improve or we get a good transfer

Good point, however, I'm not sold that Mizzou has an SEC caliber D.

They are in the SEC

Thus they have an SEC defense.

Hookers team plays in the SEC.

Hooker is an SEC qb

Yall act like every team in this conference is equal to Bama and UGa.

There are 5 teams in the SEC that are pretty far ahead of the other seven in the league with regard to their roster's talent. So more than half the teams in the SEC aren't that great with regard to roster talent.

HH says hold my beer (soda?) and watch this (season). I think he is going to do just fine and surprise some people.
