Let me say before I post this that I know I am going to get slammed for this thread, but....

I think we really need to give Compton and Stephens a chance..Wait.. Hear me out before you click quote below.. I was one of the folks that wasn't exactly hyped up about Kiff's hire.. As matter of fact I didn't like it... Several people got on me many times and told me "He was the coach and I should support him, because he would be wearing orange"... Well I did put my feelings aside and I really like him now.... Anyway what I am trying to say is that one of thise 2 young men will most likely be our QB so I am going to give you the same thing back..No matter how you feel about them they are going to be our QBs and we should support them.. Did I think they muffed it up last year, of course I did like everyone else did.. Did they drive me crazy, of course they did.. After listening to Kiff on the radio this afternoon I realized that it most likely wasn't all their fault..Think about it for a minute.. I might understand one of them stinking it up, but all 3.. 3 diffrent people, 3 diffrent ages, and from 3 diffrent high school programs and all of them functioned the same way... Like Kiff said "You don't know what they were told or how they were coached, so you have to erase the past and let them start all over"... Either way they will be wearing Orange and White... To be honest about it I would have probaly said worse things about the fan base too if I was getting death threats..OK now you can hit the quote button and let me have it.. :)

I'm there with you, I mean, Clawfuls offense failed in everyway possible, I don't know a lot of QBs that could have come to the SEC with that scheme and succeed.

I think we should support whoever they put back there, sure.

I agree one hundred percent!! Look back at Ainge he looked pretty good at first and then I dont know that I have seen a worse performance out of a qb than I seen out of him at LSU. Then in one summer Coach Cutt comes back and works with him and look how he turned out. Not too bad if you ask me. SO in my eyes the great pumpkin is out and lets see what our new staff can get out of these guys. Go Vols!!

Although I have been a fan of CLK from the beginning, I could not agree with you more. I have faith that everything will work itself out and we will be just fine. Go Vols!
