QBs fair game

Just wondering how that happened. I'm sure a Mod can correct the situation.

Unfortunately I am not allowed to view the whole article. However, from the outside looking in, it definitely seems risky. I would have supported this heading into last season (as Clausen had just come off the big Cotton Bowl performance.) This season, I am not so sure about. Crompton has never seen action in a game, and Ainge is only 1 hit away from the sideline...tough call though.

I don't like this is a good idea at all. It makes me VERY nervous.

It is risky, but I for one think that the whole team has gotten a little soft, and this year's opener is not against UAB. I think the live work will be necessary.

For the record, I will not be on the board complaining about this particular issue if Ainge gets hurt...not that anyone cares.

As for Ainge being one hit away from an injury, every player is in that boat. I dont care if they throw grenades at them to get them in game shape, just do whatever it takes to get them ready to go.

Have I mentioned that I think this idea is completely nuts?

People think Ron Popeill is nuts to, but just about everyone I know dreamed of having perfectly cooked chicken, and a pocket fisherman.

like everything else, this is a great idea, so long as he doesn't get hurt...if he gets hurt, dumbest thing i've ever heard of....

kind of like when they went for that long throw against ND on the last play at the half....dumbest play call ever.

HOWEVER, had it worked and we scored a TD, we'd all be thinking that was awesome and it's finally nice to see us playing to win!!!!

damned if you do, damned if you don't.

hope it all works out. :cross:

I'm with you Jake. Don't see any other way to get live work without it. It would be different if UT were opening with UAB or SWNETexasSouthern. They don't have that luxury this year.

I just think that it must be done. Ainge needs to build his confidence by playing in a game type situation. I agree that it is rather risky though.

This thread has changed my mind. I don't want Butch Davis to replace TCHFCATUTK, I'm now supporting Tom Berenger(If Bama doesn't hire him first).
