I am extremely confident that Tim Tebow is going to be utterly awful.
I remain skeptical as to whether Sam Bradford's durability issues and average arm will lend him a solid career.
What blows my mind is the lack of respect for Jimmy Clausen. He can make all the throws and will likely be starting be christened starter by season's end. Won't hurt at all that he'll have DeAngelo Williams, Steve Smith, and Jonathan Stewart to work with.
As far as the best QB in college for this upcoming season, I'm looking no further than Fayetteville, Arkansas. Ryan Mallett is an absolute stud. Too bad he doesn't have any future NFLers to throw to.
The Pac-10 is stout at the top with Jake Locker, Andrew Luck, and Matt Barkley. Griffin, Taylor, and Pryor are likely to have productive seasons, but their contributions at the position in the NFL will most likely be nill. Gilbert and Brantley usher in new eras for Mack and Urban. Jones will be far more effective for Stoops and Co. in year 2. Dayne Crist and Tate Forcier will pump new blood into Ann Arbor and South Bend, but there isn't much there on D for either of those historic powerhouses.
