It isn't really about choices. No one wants the job. Too late in the spring. Money isn't everything.

Because Nico is better. He's going to do very well in the B10 with a much less complex offense. Let the coaches read the defense and call the play and Nico will be very good. Chasing money family stuff aside.

He played decently at times at Indiana. He was young and made some mistakes but played well last year when he went in for Rourke. Even if he’s not the ideal option he should be serviceable enough to give Mark and GMac time to improve. He knows the offense and if he’s doing poorly a few games in they could work in Merk and GMac. Hopefully we get someone else like Altmeyer but if we don’t I’d take Jackson over Aguilar and Angeli.

We just need a QB capable of competing with Merk for #1. Play them both early in the season till it’s sorted. Redshirt GM as the emergency. And keep season expectations low.

Not necessarily, but Aguilar is probably a much, much worse qb. His film against Clemson is awful.

So yeah, if we are talking to him at all then we are scraping the very bottom of the barrel.
