His supporting cast was vastly worse last year, especially in the offensive line. No quarterback looks good throwing while laying on his back.

Most people will be and it will harm our brand. That’s what I keep saying and folks want to fight me on it: UCLA IS A JUNK FOOTBALL PROGRAM. Why would I ever get excited about getting a leftover player from there?

Aguilar cannot make the throws consistently that will be asked of him in this offense i believe... it is what it is, but if we fizzle on everyone and swap QB's, don't expect anything more than maybe 7 wins at the most...

Still wonder if Heup and our NIL had actually ponied up the money and gotten two elite WR's in the portal after the playoffs if we'd be having this conversation...

Smart to move on to Aguilar to at least force Altmyer’s hand

Will believe any qb not in the portal just listening to us is using us for leverage for a better deal with their school until they officially jump into the portal

Sounds like it is Aguilar or Altmyer.

I think our ceiling is 10-2, but I by no means think that’s likely whatsoever. Most likely finish 8-4 imo. Hard to see Aguilar leading us to wins over Bama, Florida and GA, but I think he’ll beat teams like Kentucky for sure.

Feel like our 4th loss will be either Cuse or OU. I know we get OU at home but they upgraded their firepower a lot via the portal. Definitely not a gimme game
