'25 QB transfer prospects (Joey Aguilar)

I think it would be of poor character for TN to turnaround and take another teams QB1 who would only be leaving their current team for a payday. Let's roll with the guys on the roster. Take a back up in the portal.
Lmao...we only have 2 scholarship QBs on the roster....glad you aren't running the team.

Nico maybe wasn't what we hoped he would be, but he is a lot better than ya'll are making him out to be.
If Haynes King is the best we can do, get ready for a big drop off in QB play.
We didn’t see the best of Nico.

Haynes King might not have the consistent arm for our system. But he’s tough and athletic.

The D2 Minnesota kid does. And he can run QB power

Dude we better not give Aguilar 2M’s 🤦🏻‍♂️
Wasn’t advocating for it to happen but if Nico’s camp claims it wasn’t about money but instead the offense then let’s swap these guys places and see who ends up better off because I can’t promise you that offense at UCLA is going to be cheeks. Joey would walk away with better stats and stuffed pockets.

Updating my list with Aguilar. I didn't realize my model liked him as much as it did. Not a ton of ceiling there. His rating seems to be pretty much what it is. Decent accuracy, solid avoid sack and positive play rates. A bit of a turnover bug but I'm sure Heupel could fix that. I'd still rather have Becht, Robertson, or Altmyer but you could do worse than Aguilar for sure.

Not trying to get into the gossip mill, I don't know, but I know his name's been apparently thrown out there and I thought I'd point out-

Oregon apparently made a very big run at Sam Leavitt after the Peach Bowl and ASU fended them off. He's from Oregon and spurned more money from his homestate school. Also seems to have the "disrespected" chip on his shoulder in that he dipped from MSU when the Oregon State coach that didn't recruit him got the Spartan job. It would be both shocking and really depressing for college football in general if he left ASU. Think he'll stay in Tempe until he goes pro if they're even somewhat competitive.
