He had two NFL wr’s last year yes, but one of the worst offensive lines in college football and Higgins doesn’t get very good seperation either. He had a lot of very accurate throws on the run or under pressure. I think he will make the transition just fine.My only question is he won’t have two NFL WR’s to throw to like he did at ISU. Can he elevate the players around him?
Did everyone view those guys as NFL WRs before last season? We've got several guys at WR with good NFL potential that could be seen as NFL locks after next season. We also had WRs running wide open all last season that Nico either didn't see or just couldn't hit them. It's entirely possible that our issues at WR had more to do with the QB.My only question is he won’t have two NFL WR’s to throw to like he did at ISU. Can he elevate the players around him?
I hope we get him, but if we're looking at negatives, I do wonder how his relatively weak arm will look in this league. There's a lot of soft lobs in his highlights that probably would have been picks against good teams. He had two NFL wr’s last year yes, but one of the worst offensive lines in college football and Higgins doesn’t get very good seperation either. Definitely has that moxy to him that makes a player easy to root for. That’s for sure
I disagree. It could be exposure, updated roster, enhanced competition. You got one year left to play. If you're betting on yourself then you want to show the nfl what you've got against the highest competition. Like it or not the Big 12 is not the SEC.I think it would be of poor character for TN to turnaround and take another teams QB1 who would only be leaving their current team for a payday. Let's roll with the guys on the roster. Take a back up in the portal.

Totally agree. Sorry SEC is big boy football and lots of money at stake. Throwing our kids to wolves is bad idea. We will go find our starter and should do that.I disagree.
