'25 QB transfer prospects (Joey Aguilar)

I’m with you, but the NCAA definitely cares. I’m sure they’re keeping a close eye on UT, they want payback on Tennessee.
We BEND the NCAA over and make them our Biatch every time they mess with us. Do they really want us to turn Donde loose on them again? Seems to me they've had enough.

My unpopular opinion:

Take Nico back at 1.4 million and invest the 1 million savings into a WR

So you are good with our current WR room to get us to another playoff that will balance out the inexperience in the backfield both at RB and under center?
Yeah.
I think we should go 12 personnel more anyway. Which is just 2 WRs and 2 TES

QB (Quick DT guy)
RB Bishop/Lewis
WR Matthews
WR Brazzel
TE Kittzleman
TE Davis

WR Depth
- Jackson
- Staley
- Smith
- Jefferson

Remember we had good depth at WR last year, and they just sat on the bench…Webb, Leacock were both guys that could have helped but they just didn’t play. We liked the 12 personnel more

Webb and Leacock were not good enough to play in the SEC

You can definitely see who Tennessee has offered on the recruiting trail. But I'm not sure where you stand, but 8th, in the SEC isn't great it's not terrible but not great. Sure there's quality players that he does land but to continue to be competitive you're gonna need more than a couple quality players.
I’m not sure if this is portal or recruiting. But the difference between 5/6th and 11th in recruiting is minuscule in the rankings. Michigan at 6th had 2 five stars, 14 four stars, and 8 three stars. We were at 11th with 2 five stars, 14 four stars, and 9 three stars. A&M, Auburn, LSU, and Florida are right there in front of us with essentially the same numbers. We aren’t 8th in the conference. It’s Texas, UGA, maybe Bama (although didn’t recruit like they used to), and then we are lumped into the next tier with everyone I listed. 16th is the next SEC team. It really is that simple

My guess is Noah Fifita. I think Rocco was one of our first calls but it will be tough to get him to leave right now. Altmyer if Noah falls through. By all IMO

People forget how good Noah was in 2023 before he got his new coach in 2024. He would be hell in this offense.

If it is Fifita, do you think there's possibility of a package deal with WR Tetairoa McMillan?
They were HS teammates and I think McMillan may have stayed at Arizona rather than transferring to play with Fifita.

McMillan is going to be a 1st round draft pick this upcoming Thursday...
