They have already gone to Merk and given him a raise per Basilio. He was making about 40K and gave him about 200k. The other QB is expected to redshirt and needs to add serious weight. Not a flight risk.

I hate this, too, but I got news for you. Merk, GMac, and Brandon are no different. They'll all angle for more money when they hold the nuts like Nico currently does. It's where we are.

My guess is Noah Fifita. I think Rocco was one of our first calls but it will be tough to get him to leave right now. Altmyer if Noah falls through. By all IMO

People forget how good Noah was in 2023 before he got his new coach in 2024. He would be hell in this offense.

I watched the Basillio video that someone posted in the recruiting thread (sorry, I don't remember who posted it) and he said that Merk is asking for more above the initial raise. Said he is now hooked up with Carson Beck's agent.
