'25 QB transfer prospects (Joey Aguilar)

Becuase TB probably wants the views/clicks by comparing this kid to “Johnny Football”….Manziel.

So before TB puts poison in y’all’s head, this kid isn’t and will never be Johnny Manziel
He doesn’t need to Johnny Manziel in college. Just be himself and listen to the qb guru.😎. GBO!

If he can hit the deep ball, we're gonna be trouble for everyone. We shall see.
Waste a bunch of time watching film on him like me and you will see....he does! Haven't found a single terrible overthrow. He also gets the ball out super quick because he can anticipate where the WR will be. He even goes through progressions!

He'll just go dumb gunslinger and force stuff sometimes.

Watching his film, Joey Aguilar is a good enough qb to win in the SEC. Build around him; he’s got enough good qualities that will keep us moving in the right direction. We need to develope and or find him a few more playmakers on the outside and slot. I believe our oline, rbs and tight ends will be good enough to take the pressure off of Joey to have to always make plays. Our defense should keep us in games as well. He could be really good for us as long as he has the right supporting cast.
Agree 100%. He's not good enough to take over a game, but is def good enough to improve on last year's passing and will be more accurate on the deep ball. I'm pulling for him! After the way UCLA did him, he deserves some good!

I saw on Talking Vawls a few nights ago that someone called him Joey Swagular. The only other nickname I've heard is Joey Football. I don't much care for that one as much as the "Swag"ular one.

why? UT has paid all of our last 3, and 4 of the last 5, coaches more to not coach.

at least as a back up he has some actual value to the team. even if he doesn't start day 1.

heck we paid our last QB 2 million to sit on the side line.
Heck, we paid Nico to go to high school for a year, didn't we?

Only way Joey a getting a statue if he wins a natty or a heisman. I don’t see it.
He was kidding about that. But he can become something of a legend. He's right, Nico has a higher ceiling, but Aguilar does the little things better. He doesn't need to put up 300 yards a game. He just needs to be able to be accurate on the shorter passes and hit the deep ball. Which he's good at both, unlike Nico.
