Let's be REALISTIC & admit this. The biggest reason UT had a chance of that "#11" ranked qb was he worked on a former UT qb's farm all summer long.
I'm not sure I know as much as you think, but thanks for the confidence expressed. One thing I do know, I feel this is as true as anything posted here; I don't care if we had recruited Joe Montana last year, our former Staff would not know how to develop his skills or use his talents to the fullest.
I asked this to you & others. What percent of offensive players that just happened to be All-American grade, All-State grade, All-Mid State, All-Region, All-County, All-City, All-You Fill in the Blank grade, developed significantly OR IN MOST CASES EVEN met expectations at UT under the former Offensive Staff?
I'm not speaking of ONLY last years team, go back to the NC year...if you dare.
