NIL contracts are not through the school like a coaching contract. They are through independent parties (I think, correct me if I am wrong please).

You are right, but they do have a contract through nil, and they should have to honor that contract are provisions need to be made that if they transfer before the contract is up then wherever they transfer to has to buy out the contract to the orifinal nil

I’ve not seen the contracts or an example of one first hand, but are they ACTUALLY tied to the university itself? I think they are honoring those contracts. If they weren’t we would see more of what is happening up in WA.
