I fail to understand what UT sees in a qb who doesn't complete 50% of his passes, and probably getting 3 or 4 million dollars to ride the pine for at least a year, and if he can't complete 50% of his passes in high school, what can he do here. He has to have better stats than this.

Faizon has completed 68.8% of his passes his senior year for 10 TDs and 0 Ints (he missed a large part of the season with injury).

For his career, he's completed 72% of his passes. I don't know where you are getting your stats from, unless someone is cherry picking one game.
