Wow just wow? Its not unheard of. Plenty of QBs have been moved to TE or receiver that weren't burners. You have somewhere else you can hide him? He obviously knows where the skeletons are buried which is the only reason he is seeing playing time. Let me know where you'd stick him if he comes back.

Doubt salter will sit behind Maurer on the depth chart. As long as Pruitt is here, our qbs won't improve anyway.

Unfortunately jg will be our qb next year as well if Pruitt is still here.

Cornbread has shown no indication that he even knows what a straight QB looks like.

I was listening to call in show and Pruitt stated jg is the qb because he does well in practice; and in his whole coaching career that is what he based the starters on; is how well they do in practice. So jg is apparently a very good practice player, and as long as he does this he will be the starter regardless of how he does on game day.

I think it’s doubtful we get a transfer qb. Don’t get me wrong, I think we should, but I’m basing this decision on past history.

Why would a transfer qb want to come here? To sit on the bench? With our prior history he won't be given a chance.

I'm surprised that Tanner Mordecai didn't transfer to Arkansas last spring. I'm guessing that Kendal Briles will make a run at him now along with SMU and Tulsa.
