Why not wait until these 2 have actually been taught to play QB. If jones gets hired hopefully the new coach will be able to develop QBS. A little coaching could do wonders for these kids

This was a Mo's defense lets see how he does against a good defense. I don't think he would have done as good against Ala of Georgia. Besides all the other teams have to do is play the national anthem and he stops and takes a knee

I think McBride was one of our few bright spots last night. Really liked the way he used his feet, and his speed surprised me. Now if only he had an O line to play behind...

Will McBride played very well last night. He looks good in the pocket, has a good arm, and has mobility. I like his demeanor and attitude. It will be interesting moving forward.

Development potential is there.
With Canales and Butch, he’ll be average at best.
Under a legit QB coach he’d be very interesting to see next season.

The new coach needs to scrap the crappy spread system and bringA prostyle quarterback with some size that can take the punishment of the SEC 200 pound quarterbacks get crushed in this lake

I wouldn't go that far, but he gave the coaches something to consider. We saw some things from him we haven't seen this year. He is a more complete package. Granted, Missouri's defense isn't that good, but neither is our O-line.

This. He ain’t scared for sure .stands in and delivers the ball wit a D lineman in his face, runs like he wants a first down. QD always throwing off his back foot leaning away from being hit, JG looked like a deer in. Headlights at first but looked better last couple of games. Not saying McBride is the best but give credit where it’s due.

lol...never cared for QBs that seeks out contact or aren't smart with the way they take hits...it'll ruin ya quick in this league. Unless it's for a really important 1st down, I don't want my QB intentionally taking hard hits. Dobbs knew how to do it. He ran like a deer and knew when to cut his losses on the runs. Very smart runner.

Found 2nite? I said last game he looked good for just been thrown in. He's the type like Dobbs this offense needs,he's quick plus looks like he has some zip on it.

Just had rs riped plus true freshman qb on this team. Ya looking good needs developed but idk many qbs that looks great when oline doesn't even touch the guy

Don't think I have ever saw a Tennessee team go this many years with this many Offensive Line problems...got to have an offensive line Biopsyman.....cant even begin to win without a competitive offensive line

:rock:Thanks goodness we have had a chance to see our two quarterbacks over Dormady. I like McBride because he can run and showed some of it last night. Look what Dobbs did with his running ability. Dormady is gone.

Mc Bride looks to have the it factor. To say he played with the same team that JG and QD played with is laughable. In several series there where 7 freshmen or to put it another way just 4 starters where not freshmen
1.Trey Smith
2. McBride
3. Palmer
4. Devante Brooks
5. Riley Locklear
6. Ty Chandler
7.Jordan Murphy
Lot of players getting experience... would be great to get to 6 w's and a bowl even at 5 & 7 for the extra practice. I think our high gpa will qualify us.

You're right on with this post. The problem is the next two games, I'm all for this young man, hope he is able to stay healthy as long as it is going to take to get a half-way reasonable O-line. I don't see 6W this season, LSU is just too strong, I don't see Vandy backing down, depending on how much damage LSU inflicts on what's left of the team, Vandy could make it a two in a row. I would be the year for it.

kid has the capability to be really good, especially now that butch is gone. with a little coaching he will be fine. same thing with guarantano and dormady as well.

WM has clearly demonstrated he is the best runner of the 3 QB's that have played so far. I have been impressed with his toughness and seems to throw a good ball. The TD pass against Missouri with a defender in his face was awesome.

Honestly, each QB seems to bring a different aspect to our O and the battle is going to be interesting with QD, JG and WM. Although, I'm sure QD or JG will most likely transfer.
